Branches reaching, making greeting
To the Keeper of the sky;
Web of twigs in lacy patterns,
Hungering for the Light up high;
Woody sentiment that lingers
While the storm clouds rush on by;
Chorus of those brushing fingers
Moans our own deep winter sighs.
