“Rich young woman or young man,
Courtesan or charlatan,
All in life not of My plan
Give, if you’d be where I am.”
He asks something hard indeed,
Asks for what splits Himand me,
Something filling heart and thoughts
That hinders loving as I ought.
What’s the gift to give my King,
Which, for me, is everything?
That’s what He wants - freely given;
What He asks, to be forgiven.
